For Canadian founders

Put a proper foundation under your business.

Zābo Law is a law firm for founders. Real lawyers set up your business properly and stay beside you as it grows, on flat fees.

Our services are flat fees, and you know the price before we start.

Where you are now

You're ready to do this properly, and you're afraid of getting it wrong.

You might be leaving a job to open your own business. Or you've been running for 3 years, and it's time to make it official.

Setting up a company is its own job, and it can feel like drinking from a fire hose. A website will file your papers, and you'll still wonder whether you did it right.

You've heard what lawyers charge, and you can't tell what this will cost you.

We know business

You don't have to do this alone.

Right now you're the head of every department in your business, and legal is the one you never trained for.

I'm Sonya Szabo. I'm a lawyer and a founder, and I'm building a business right now too. Zābo Law only works with businesses, so your questions are the ones we answer all day.

We start with what you're building. Then we show you what to put in place and in what order, and we stay beside you while you do it.
